I’m an IB PYP 5th-grade homeroom teacher. My philosophy is simple: make it easy for students to think hard. I design classroom routines that strip away unnecessary cognitive friction, so every learner can reach complex thinking – multilingual students, those who need extra support, and those ready to stretch. Over five years I’ve built and refined a set of repeatable literacy routines in my own classroom, and I share them with colleagues
